Compliance Policy
This Compliance Policy (the "Policy") describes the compliance framework that governs the products and services of Drog AI, a service of Drogoz Network (the "Services"), including our approach to sanctions, export controls, anti-money-laundering and counter-terrorist-financing ("AML/CTF"), acceptable use, and cooperation with lawful authorities. It forms part of, and is incorporated by reference into, the Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms of Service.
1. Commitment to Lawful Operation
Drog AI is committed to operating in accordance with Applicable Law and to preventing the use of its Services for unlawful purposes. All users must comply with Applicable Law and with our Acceptable Use Policy. We reserve the right, to the maximum extent permitted by Applicable Law, to refuse, suspend, restrict, or terminate service to any person or entity where necessary to comply with legal obligations or to mitigate legal, financial, security, or reputational risk.
2. Sanctions Compliance
You must not use the Services if you are, or if you act on behalf of any person or entity that is:
- located in, organized under the laws of, or ordinarily resident in a country or territory subject to comprehensive economic or trade sanctions;
- identified on any restricted-party, denied-party, or sanctions list maintained by a competent authority; or
- owned or controlled by, or acting on behalf of, any such sanctioned person or entity.
You represent and warrant, on an ongoing basis, that your use of the Services does not and will not violate any applicable sanctions program. We may screen users and transactions against sanctions lists and may block, freeze, delay, or reject activity, and suspend or terminate Accounts, where necessary to comply with sanctions obligations. We will not facilitate any transaction or communication that we reasonably believe would breach applicable sanctions.
3. Export Controls
The Services, and any related technology or software, may be subject to export-control laws. You agree not to export, re-export, transfer, or make available the Services, directly or indirectly, in violation of any applicable export-control law, and not to use the Services for any prohibited end use. You are responsible for obtaining any licenses or authorizations required for your particular use and for ensuring that your End Users are not prohibited recipients.
4. Anti-Money-Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing
Drog AI does not tolerate the use of its Services to launder the proceeds of crime or to finance terrorism or proliferation. You represent that all funds and digital assets used to pay for the Services derive from lawful sources. Consistent with a risk-based approach and to the extent applicable to our activities, we may:
- apply reasonable measures to identify and verify users and beneficial owners;
- monitor for unusual or suspicious activity;
- request additional information or documentation regarding the source of funds or the nature of your activity;
- decline, delay, freeze, or reverse-where-possible transactions that raise compliance concerns; and
- report suspicious activity to competent authorities where legally required, without notice to you where such notice is prohibited.
5. Fraud and Abuse Prevention
We deploy technical and organizational measures intended to detect and prevent fraud, spam, and abuse of the Services. Where we detect or reasonably suspect prohibited activity — including fraud, phishing, impersonation, unauthorized access, or the misuse of others' data — we may take immediate action as described in the Acceptable Use Policy, including suspension, termination, content removal, and preservation of records. Users must not attempt to circumvent these measures.
6. Age and Eligibility
The Services are available only to persons who are at least eighteen (18) years old, or the age of majority in their jurisdiction, and who are otherwise legally eligible under Applicable Law. We may take steps to verify eligibility and may terminate Accounts that do not satisfy these requirements.
7. Law Enforcement and Legal Requests
Drog AI respects both the rule of law and the legitimate privacy interests of its users. Our approach to requests from governmental, regulatory, and law-enforcement authorities is as follows:
- Legal compulsion required. We disclose user data or take requested action only when legally compelled by a valid, binding, and properly issued legal order or process that is enforceable against Drog AI in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Review for validity and scope. We assess each request for legal sufficiency, jurisdiction, specificity, and proportionality. Where a request is defective, overbroad, or improperly served, we may reject, narrow, or challenge it, or seek clarification, to the extent lawful.
- Minimum necessary disclosure. Where disclosure is legally required, we provide only the data reasonably responsive to the valid request.
- User notice. Except where prohibited by law or where notice would be counterproductive to an investigation or would endanger a person, we endeavor to notify affected users so that they may seek to protect their rights.
- Emergencies. In genuine emergencies involving an imminent risk of death or serious physical harm, we may provide information to authorities to the extent permitted by Applicable Law.
- Voluntary cooperation. Absent legal compulsion or a qualifying emergency, Drog AI does not volunteer user data to authorities.
Lawful requests should be directed to legal@drog.ai and must include appropriate legal documentation and the legal basis for the request.
8. Data Protection and Privacy Alignment
Our compliance measures are designed to operate alongside our Privacy Policy, which is informed by the principles of the GDPR and comparable frameworks. As stated in the Privacy Policy, references to such principles do not constitute a warranty or certification of compliance with any specific legal regime unless separately and formally verified.
9. Reporting and Escalation
Suspected violations of Applicable Law or of our policies may be reported to abuse@drog.ai. We review reports in accordance with our procedures and take appropriate action, which may include internal investigation, enforcement measures, and, where legally required, notification to authorities.
10. Enforcement and Cooperation Rights
To the maximum extent permitted by Applicable Law, Drog AI reserves the right to: refuse service; suspend or terminate Accounts; withhold, freeze, or reverse-where-possible transactions; preserve and disclose records where legally required; and take any other action reasonably necessary to comply with Applicable Law and to protect Drog AI, its users, and the public. Exercise of these rights does not create any liability on the part of Drog AI and does not entitle you to any refund except as expressly provided in the Refund Policy.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in law, regulation, risk, or our operations. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
